The Age of Universe and Brahma

Thread ‘Age of Universe and Brahma’ according to Ancient Vedic texts 🚩

‘The life span of d Universe’ is equal to the ‘Age of Brahma’ which is called ‘Maha Kalp’

5- Mahakalp (Age of Brahma) 

A ‘MahaYug’ is made up of four sub ‘Yugs’that are distributed in the ratio of 4:3:2:1

Krit (Satya)Yug- 1,728,000 yrs

Treta-Yug - 1.296.000 yrs

Dvapar-Yug - 864,000 yrs

Kali-Yug - 432,000 yrsSo 1 Chatur Yug (Mahayug) = 4.320.000 human yrs this is called “A Yug Cycle”

1000 Chatur Yug (Mahayug) = 1 Kalp

Each 1000 Mahayug (Kalp) is divided between 14 Manus. 

(1000/14 means = 71.42 Mahayug)

Means 1 Manu rules - 71.42 Mahayug.Therefore 1 Manvantara is equals to 71 Mahayug

Hence 1 manavntara = 4320000 x 71 = 306,720,000 human years

Each kalp has 14 manvantaras and 15 manvantara sandhyas ( each manvantara sandhya is equal to length of Krit Yug means 1,728,000 years - manvantara)(Each manvantara is distinguished by the Manu who rules over it, of which we are currently in the seventh manvantara of fourteen, which is ruled by Vaivasvata Manu).

Cos 1 Kalp = 14 manvantaras + 15 manvantara sandhyas

That means 1 Kalp = 14 x 306,720,000 + 15 x 1,728,000 https://t.co/ZiThSzsJTl=4,294,080,000 + 25,920,000 = 4,320,000,000 human years = 4.32 billion year

1 day/ night of Brahma = 1 Kalp

1 day and 1 night (full day) of Brahma = 2 kalp = 2000 Mahayug

( 1 day of Brahma or Kalp is followed by 1 night of Brahma (Pralay)length, and each lasting for ( 1000 X 4320000= 4,320,000,000 years.= 4.32 billion human years)

So one year of Brahma ( Brahma year) is 360 x 2000 Mahayug =720000 Mahayug.

The lifespan of Brahma is 100 Brahma years = 720000 x 100 = 72000000 Mahayug.Coz 1 mahayug = 4320000 human yrs. therefore “Age of Brahma” is = 72000000 X 4320000 = 311,040,000,000,000 human yrs. or 311,040 billion human years. i.e. 311.04 trillion years.

(👆🏼This period is called Mahakalp = The total age of this Universe)The ancient Indian texts say that our Universe is currently in the 1st day of its 51st year of brahma. (Total age of Brahma is 100 brahma years 50 passed ( 1st half) away means 50 are remaining ( 2nd half).. cos we are in the 1st day of 2nd half of brahma)

So in calculation 👇🏼

50 Brahma years passed away means 720000 Mahayug X 50 = 36,000,000 Mahayug

36000000 X 4320000 = 155,520,000,000,000 human years = till now

So current age of Universe is - 155.52 trillion yearsWhen the lifespan of current Brahma is over New Brahma will be created by Bhagwan Vishnu ( Means after eac 100 brahma years. or 311.04 trillion human years new Brahma will be born )

In this day of the Universal scale, we are in the Kaliyuga ofthe 28th Mahayug of the 7th Manvantara. ( keep in mind that each manvanara has 71 Mahayuga.. that means 43 mahayuga are still remaining in this manvantara)

The name of the Universal day is Svetha Varaha Kalp. The name of the Manvantara is ‘Vaivasvata Manvantara.
